![]() ![]() ![]() That said this is a technical product, chances are if you know how to use one of these you know how to install drivers. And that’s it, no searching, no installing it will just flop dead from the start. Plug it in all you want, and all you’ll get is a generic error message from windows: “A request for the USB device descriptor failed”. The problem here is that whoever’s job it was to do that for this adaptor must have called in sick the day they were making these, because with this device, that just does not happen. Normally when you plug a USB device into a windows box it will tell windows what it is so that it can go out and get the right drivers for you automatically, often this process will happen so quickly you won’t even notice it’s going on, and then the device is available. However, I would recommend you steer clear of this one for professional use. I've used adapters like this for years, and for the most part, they give you little to no issue. I’m a technical professional with years of troubleshooting under my belt, I ordered this to console into a router, for a personal project. ![]()
